Laura Sadler

Born and raised in North Texas, Laura Sadler is thrilled to be home and on the mic telling the stories that matter most to her community.

Laura grew up in Coppell where her love for sports started at a young age. As a huge Cowboys fan, football was on at her house every Sunday and soccer became her favorite sport to play.

Naturally, she took those two passions to Stephen F. Austin and became a Division I athlete as a member of the soccer team. Laura also went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Radio & Television.

Laura got her start in television as a news reporter for KTLV 7 in Tyler, Texas. Six months later, Laura was promoted as the Sports Director for KTRE News 9 in Lufkin, Texas. She spent five years anchoring the nightly news in East Texas. Laura was able to highlight everything between the local games and athletes, to covering the pros where she regularly attended the Houston Texans training camps and games.

Laura eventually worked as a freelance sports broadcaster for numerous sports teams and sports entities including ESPN, Tarleton Sports Network, Dallas Sidekicks, and several Division I college programs. You can see her regularly throughout the fall season covering college football and college soccer.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys attending her church, working as a freelance sports broadcaster, watching sports, working out and any activity that gets her outside. Drinking coffee may become a new hobby of hers as she’ll be hosting DFW’s Morning News on 570 KLIF weekdays from 5 am- 9 am.
