Tornado Touched Down in Jacksboro

JACKSBORO (WBAP/KLIF)- As storms moved through North Texas, reports of damage are coming out of Jacksboro.
The high school and middle school took a direct hit from a tornado at around 4pm Monday afternoon.

Superintendent Brad Burnett said there were no injuries reported. He said over 300 students were sheltering in the Elementary school when the storm hit. Officials say trees are down in some areas with major damage reported to houses.

Tornado damage was also reported Monday afternoon near Elgin, and other damage reported in Round Rock and Hutto.
