it’s as easy as using your smart phone to access the “My Fort Worth” app or the “Ask Arlington” app. Illegal use of fireworks is punishable with a fine of up to $2,000, while a celebratory firearm discharge could land you in jail for a year with a $4,000 fine.

The effort is aimed to drive down the use of illegal fireworks in North Texas. In the recently-released video, Fort Worth Police Officer Buddy Calzada shared another way fort worth residents can report issues by calling a special phone number, (817) 392-4444.
