Hood County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Grandbury man provided gruesome jailhouse details about the death of his wife whose remains were found this week.
59-year old Edward Pautenis told says that he shot his wife with three different guns during an argument.
“The more that she just kept coming at me, I just sat there and shot her … pow, pow, pow.”
He claims his wife, Jennifer Pautenis who was 30 years his junior had attacked him so he shot her in self-defense, first using a handgun, then a rifle. then another gun.
He was arrested this week after leading Hood County deputies to a field where he dumped her body.
