Finishing Touches Underway at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Crews at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth are flushing out any kinks ahead of this month’s grand opening; literally.

The countdown is on. There is just over a week left until the new arena opens its doors. But first things first; checking the plumbing. Students from Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth were brought in to help make sure the toilets flush. Students filled every restroom at the arena and simultaneously flushed the toilets.

“We think it’s a fun opportunity to engage the community,” said Dickies Arena Spokesperson Alissa Cunningham. “Trimble Tech High School is one of the schools that will be graduating at the arena i the spring.”

The students also rode the escalators inside the area.

“It was really an honor,” said a Trimble Tech student.

No major issues were reported. The arena opens October 26.
