Police Say an Abused Parker County Infant is Fighting for His Life

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) _ A 7-week old baby in Parker County is hospitalized and fighting for his life with brain damage and neck injury. His mother’s boyfriend is jailed in connection with the baby’s injuries.

According to the arrest affidavit, 20-year-old Kaleb Eisenmann became frustrated when ‘Baby Jax’ wouldn’t stop crying.

Eisenmann told police that he had “jerked the baby up out of an infant swing too hard,” causing the infant’s neck to jerk back.

The baby’s grandmother told WFAA-TV that his mother was working at the time. “My daughter was working, she’d just gotten a job at Dickey’s Barbecue.”

Eisenmann is being held in the Parker County Jail on a first-degree felony charge. The Parker County sheriff said Eisenmann is on suicide watch.
