Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police have arrested a suspected hit and run driver for fleeing the scene of a fatal accident. It happened last night on Garland Road a few blocks south of Northwest Highway. A pedestrian walking in the right lane of traffic in the dark and rain was hit by a car and killed. The driver of the car did not stop, but its license plate came off in the accident, and police went to the registered address where they arrested 33 year old Jeanette Alvarez on a felony charge of causing an accident involving death.
