Alligator Sighting in Lake Arlington

Lake Arlington (WBAP/KLIF) – A local fisherman has quite a tale to tell after he spotted what he described as a 5 or 6 foot alligator on Lake Arlington.

A man identified as Cody says he was at the lake on Easter Sunday with his son-in-law when he spotted something that looked like a log. He told WFAA-TV, “that’s when it started rolling (video).”

“No wonder we ain’t catching no fish out here,” he said.”

Arlington Animal Control says alligators are common in North Texas.
They say if you come across one, “stay still, stay quiet and keep your distance.
