Bike Share Companies Under City Microscope

DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF)- The city of Dallas may regulate bike share companies after their bikes have been seen tossed about like litter in some areas.

City councilman Phillip Kingston told WFAA-TV this week that the city is going at reported incidents over several  months before they can issue regulations.

Cities like Seattle and San Francisco require permits for bike sharing companies that include rules that the bikes must be parked upright and out of the way of everyday traffic.
