The Trump administration has lifted a major restriction on Ukraine’s ability to use Western-supplied long-range missiles, enabling Kyiv to expand strikes on targets inside Russia, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing unnamed U.S. officials.
Less than 90 minutes after the article was published, though, President Trump took to Truth Social to slam the story as “FAKE NEWS!”
“The Wall Street Journal story on the U.S.A.’s approval of Ukraine being allowed to use long range missiles deep into Russia is FAKE NEWS!” he wrote.
