Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Fla., praised the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) for publicly urging Democrats to pass a continuing resolution and end the government shutdown, telling Newsmax on Tuesday she respects the union for exposing their “theatrics.”
“I very much respect them for standing up and calling out the Democratic Party for what it is,” Moody said on “National Report.” “It has now become the party of histrionics, political theatrics.”
Moody said Democrats have allowed themselves to become beholden to the most radical elements of their base, abandoning their duty to govern in good faith.
