Sen. Barrasso: ‘Optimistic’ Senate Has Votes to Pass Budget

Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso announced Sunday he’s “optimistic” there’s enough Republican votes to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act before the July 4 deadline.

When asked by Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” Maria Bartiromo about Republicans Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, regarding their skepticism of the bill and its impact on the national debt, Barrasso replied: “As the majority whip, I listen to all of the members. Listen closely.

“I am optimistic and confident that we will accomplish this for the American people to make their lives better, to provide the safety and prosperity that they have voted for.”
