Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., slammed Democrats for dragging out the government shutdown and putting politics ahead of the American people, telling Newsmax on Wednesday that talk is growing on Capitol Hill about pushing through a longer-term continuing resolution.
Appearing on “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE,” Mace said the short-term CR that funded the government through Nov. 21 was never meant to become a recurring fix.
“That original continuing resolution was only to go through until Nov. 21,” Mace told Higbie. “So we’re now only weeks away from that. And now there’s talk about a longer-term continuing resolution.
