Pride Intersection in Florida Covered in Black Paint

An intersection in Delray Beach, Florida, meant to honor the LGBTQ+ community has been covered with black paint.

The Florida Department of Transportation removed the rainbow-colored street art overnight Tuesday, Delray Beach City Manager Terrence Moore told the Sun Sentinel.

The move was part of the state’s crackdown on street art, the Sun Sentinel reported. The city will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. to discuss the incident.
