Several Jewish politicians are urging other Jewish lawmakers to support New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani because they are scared of being primaried by similar candidates next year, The New York Post reported.
City Comptroller Brad Lander and Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y. are part of the “Jews for Zohran” offensive, according to the Post. Both endorsed Mamdani after he roundly defeated Andrew Cuomo in the Democrat mayoral primary last month.
“They’re waving the white flag,” one Jewish activist told the Post. “They’re petrified.”
