Late-night host Jimmy Fallon was scheduled to appear on a panel at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York on Thursday.
Event organizers surprised many attendees with a last-minute notice, just 30 minutes before the start of the event, indicating they should not expect to see Fallon.
Newsweek reported that the notice was brief, stating, “Unfortunately, Jimmy Fallon is no longer able to attend today’s session.”
