At least one conservative has cited the hypocrisy of liberals and mainstream media members who promoted George Floyd’s death but have said little to nothing about the brutal murder of a Ukrainian refugee by a Black career criminal in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, took to social media in Tuesday’s early hours to lambaste CNN’s Van Jones and other mainstream media pundits who “tried to silence” the murder of Iryna Zarutska.
Zarutska, a 23-year-old who fled Ukraine in 2022, was fatally stabbed by career criminal Decarlos Brown Jr. on Aug. 22. The killing gained national attention over the weekend after authorities released surveillance video of the gruesome slaying.
