FORT WORTH, Texas — A 27-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday, the Fort Worth Police Department reported.
Officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 5400 block of Blackmore Avenue, where they found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his torso. Despite efforts by medical personnel, the victim, later identified as Jordan Moore, 27, was unable to be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
WFAA’s helicopter footage captured images of the crime scene, showing several bullet holes in the side of a Nissan sedan.
The FWPD has classified the incident as a homicide and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made.
