Alvarado, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Alvarado I-S-D will remain closed today and Friday amid concerns about COVID-19.
Campuses were shut down Wednesday after a community member of the Alvarado North Elementary community was quarantined for possible exposure.
In a letter to parents last night, the district says members of the quarantined individual’s household, who are AISD students have become symptomatic.

The original exposure is believed to have been at a doctor’s office where the woman works.
