FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Frisco police responded to a woman who was assaulted while jogging early Monday morning.
The woman, who has not been identified, said she was jogging in the area of the Trails Parkway and Crockett Drive at around 6:25am when she tried to pass a man wearing all black. The man grabbed her and threw her to the ground but she was able to fend him off and escape to a nearby house where she got help and called police. Police are now investigating the incident and trying to identify a possible suspect.
The Frisco Police Department now urges local citizens to be vigilant when exercising outside. Saying that even though events like this are rare in Frisco, we are not immune.
