DENTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The Denton Police Department is investigating a deadly New Year’s Eve shooting.
According to Denton PD, dispatch received a call around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday reporting a shooting at 905 Cleveland Street. When Officers arrived they found a man lying on the ground inside the apartment complex gated parking lot with a gunshot wound.
“He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased by medical staff shortly after midnight,” said Khristen Jones with Denton Police.
Denton PD Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians responded to the location to process the scene and conduct a full investigation. No suspects have been identified at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
