DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Police Department is investigating an alleged assault caught on video at White Rock Lake.
The video posted to Twitter had more than 1 million views by late Tuesday afternoon. It appears to show a man knocking a cell phone out of a woman’s hand at the White Rock Lake dog park. According to DPD, Officers were called and the man was given a ticket for the lowest level of assault.
The woman who posted the video claims the man shown is the husband of an assistant Dallas city attorney. Police sources said Tuesday that the city attorney’s office was made aware of the video.
The case is still under investigation. According to Police, more charges are possible.
