DENTON (WBAP/KLIF)- Backing the Blue Denton Organization is partnering with the 100 Club of Denton to raise funds for the police officer who police say is in critical condition after being shot during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
Janie Torres President of the 100 Club says any donation is appreciated. “100% of every donation will go directly to the family, we are a non profit organization and we don’t have a paid staff we are all on a volunteer basis,” she said.
Backing the Blue organization says it’s also planning an event fundraiser in the near future to help the family.
