DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- The City of Dallas has completed its initial assessment of Sunday’s tornado damage. Nearly 900 homes or structures took some kind of hit, with 104 of those declared a total loss. Public Works is continuing 24-hour operations in the clean-up, including tree and debris removal. Thirteen city facilities were damaged; Fire Station 35 on Walnut Hill is still relying on a generator for power. As of Tuesday night, nearly 17-thousand residents remained without power in the Metroplex. Oncor says power should be fully restored by Thursday.
