State Attorneys Admitted New Evidence in Amber Guyger’s Pretrial Hearing

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Attorneys for former Dallas Police officer Amber Guyger and the state of Texas are meeting with a judge for a pre-trial hearing.

Guyger is charged with murder in the shooting death of Botham Jean last year.

The judge said she will not rule on a change of venue yet, even though Guyger’s attorneys presented several pieces of evidence claiming bias in Dallas county.

The state’s attorney admitted several new pieces of evidence, including a gun, ammo, and photos from the Dallas police crime scene unit.

Jury selection begins in just over two weeks, with the trial set for a week after that.
