Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – There’s a twist to an incident that Dallas Police are calling a ‘robbery gone bad’ in Northeast Dallas overnight. A homeless man was reportedly shot dead during an altercation with another man who took off with his bicycle.
The incident happened around midnight in near Skillman and Audelia.
Witnesses say the victim was known to the area and was alway by himself.
The suspect got away.
In light of the Dallas police shortage, DPS troopers had been assigned to patrol the area but were not working last night.
Police are investigating.
