A New Lawsuit Filed by Victims of Elan City Lights Apartment Tragedy

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Six more people are suing the crane company and Dallas apartment that a crane fell on last month during a severe storm forcing them to move out.

500 residents were displaced from the Elan City Lights apartment complex near Live Oak and 75; one woman died because of the crane collapse.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the lawsuit claims all of them are suffering from “invisible injuries,” including depression, anxiety and PTSD.

Another resident filed a lawsuit last month seeking more than a million dollars.

The lawyer behind the most recent string of lawsuits says those filing them just want to make sure it never happens again.
