DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Dallas Animal Services is experiencing over capacity at 108% for dogs and over 150% for cats. Whitney Hanson Manager at DAS said during the summer they see an increase. She said the increase is due to cat breeding season as well as their rescue team bringing in more dogs. “It does really speak to how badly we need people to foster and adopt both cats and dogs…we are inundated with 100 to 150 animals coming in every day,” she said.
