Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Businesses around the tom thumb store at Preston and Belt Line in North Dallas confirm a heavy police and SWAT presence outside the store.
A woman who identified herself as Sherry is one of the managers at Einstein’s Bagels located in the same strip mall as Tom Thumb. She told us that the entire parking lot is shut down, no employees are being permitted in or out. The bagel shop was the only store open as of 7:30 this morning.
Sherry said that she had been videoing the entire ordeal since it began earlier this morning and that “hostages or whatever you might call them” are being able to exit the store one or two at a time.
