
DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas police are asking the public to help find the driver believed to be responsible for a hit and run accident that killed three people early Sunday.
Investigators said the suspect, 32-year-old Jesus Chavarria-Vasquez was driving a black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck when he was involved in an accident at 3200 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway at 3:31 a.m.
Chavarria-Vasquez was driving eastbound when he allegedly hit three people who were changing a tire on the side of the freeway.
22-year old Hieu Minh Doan, 23-year-old David Ngyuen and 23-year-old Christopher Pham were pronounced dead at the scene.
A person sitting in the right-rear passenger side of the car that was hit is in critical condition in the hospital.
Police said Chavarria-Vasquez’ truck was disabled and he left the scene of the accident, leaving his injured 12-year-old son.
The suspect also has a black 2008 Cadillac with Texas Tag JZS0584 and may also be driving a white work van.
