DENTON (WBAP/KLIF)- a Denton High School teacher accused of having sexual relations with a student, turned herself in Thursday morning.
Denton police say 46-year-old John H. Guyer High School teacher Jeanna Wesson was arrested and charged with improper relationship between a 17-year-old male student 2 years ago.
Bryan Cose with the Denton Police Department said the victim, who has since graduated came forward about a month ago.
“Detectives determined that in 2017 the teacher and the student exchanged inappropriate videos and pictures and then again that year, the teacher actually performed a sexual act in her classroom,” Cose said.
Cose said they were able to get enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant and she agreed to turn herself in.
