One Person in Custody Following Police Standoff in Greenville

GREENVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News) — According to the Greenville Police Department, one person was taken into custody after a standoff with Officers.

The department said Monday it received a call reporting shots fired around 2:30 in the morning. When officers arrived, there was a man who was shot inside. The shooter had run from the scene, but police tracked him to a nearby home off Walnut Street, where they worked to convince him to come outside.

The man eventually surrendered and the area was cleared.
