DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police are joining forces with private investigators in trying to locate a 16-year-old Dallas girl, missing since August 31, 2018. Linda de la O was last seen leaving her house near Preston and Arapaho Road, after arguing with a cousin. Her mother says Linda sent a message using the Snapchat app on her cell phone, placed a call, and then left the house. Dallas police say they believe Linda was picked up by a teen boy in a car, but it’s unknown where they went. They are considering this to be a runaway case. Private Investigator Jill Wilson says details of the Snapchat message that could lead to Linda’s location can only be retrieved if her phone is found.
