Hunt County: Reward Now $6,000 For Info Leading to Suspect in Service Dog Shooting

Quinlan, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The reward for information leading to a suspect who shot a service dog in Hunt County has gone up.

Thanks to an anonymous donation, $6,000 dollars is now available, up from the initial $1,000.

A golden retriever named Journey was killed outside of a home where the dog served as a service dog for a 15-year-old diabetic girl.

WFAA-TV reports the family – in Quinlan – has raised over 20-thousand dollars through GoFundMe campaign for a new service animal.  If you have information, call the Hunt County Crime Stoppers or police. .
