Ennis Police Believe Body Found in Creek is That of Emily Wade

ENNIS (WBAP/KLIF) – Ennis Police believe the body of a missing woman was found Monday morning.

According to the Ennis Police Department, search volunteers found the deceased body of a woman Monday meeting the description of Emily Wade. The body was found in a creek bed that was known to be flooding on the night Emily Wade went missing. The body will be taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for positive identification and determination on the cause of death.
The Ennis Police Department voiced its appreciation for all of the volunteers and assisting agencies that have spent time searching for Emily Wade and send thoughts and prayers to her family.
