Kennedale, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A former Kennedale ISD custodian is facing charges of inappropriate behavior with a student.
70-year old Lewis Wayne Rawlings was arrested Tuesday and charged with indecency with a child.
The district says they started to investigate Rawlings back in December when someone notified them Rawlings may have acted inappropriately with a student.
In a note to parents, the district says they have the students safety in mind at all times, and will continue to work with law enforcement as the investigation into Rawlings continues.
