Weatherford (WBAP/KLIF) – A photo of a noose being hung from a staircase at Weatherford High School has surfaced on Facebook.
The school district posted to its website that the photo was from December, and that the student involved was immediately identified and punished according to the Weatherford’s student code of conduct.
One parent with a child at the school told the Fort Worth Star Telegram the student received an in-school suspension — what she called a “slap on the wrist.”
Another said the school was trying to cover it up by asking kids to delete the photo from their phones.
