FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- The City of Fort Worth is warning citizens about illegal firework activity on New Year’s Eve Mike Drivdahl with the Fort Worth Fire Department said they’re working with police to confiscate and fine anyone who sets off fireworks. Drivdahl said fireworks are illegal in the city of fort worth and are very dangerous especially as now the weather is dry and windy. They have also provided a hotline for people to call to report any illegal firework activity. He said you can be fined up to $1,000.
