Tyler, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Tyler man on probation for swiping over 23-thousand dollars worth of phones from a Verizon store apparently hasn’t learned his lesson.
Tyler police say 24-year-old Vernell D. Richarson is now accused targeting the lockers of TCU football players.
The Star-Telegram reports, Richardson was arrested Wednesday morning on a ‘burglary of building warrant,’ when he reported to his probation officer.
He allegedly targeted team lockers while the team practiced, stealing seven cell phones and a set of beats headphones on September 11.
TCU Police identified him as a person of interest from surveillance video footage.
Richardson is also a person of interest in connection with recent locker thefts at SMU.
