The early voting statistics show Texans were eager to vote in this year’s mid-term elections

Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – More Texans early voted this year than cast ballots in all of the last mid-term election cycle. The final early vote count shows more than half a million of us went to the polls Friday as early voting ended in Texas. When all the ballots cast in just the 30 most populous counties were totaled it came to 4.9 million. That means 200,000 thousand more of us voted early in those 30 counties than voted in the entire state in the 2014 mid-terms, and that statistic includes all the ballots that were cast on 2014’s election day. 2018’s election day isn’t until Tuesday.
