DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Many artists have performed at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, often to sold out crowds. But in a 5 to 4 vote on Thursday, the city council decided to withhold a $44 million dollar payment to the developer, The Ark Group.
The Dallas Morning News reports the 180 Million dollar venue has brought big names like Reba Mcentire and ZZ Top to Las Colinas, but the city council was unhappy with an unfinished storefront on the property. The developer has been back and forth with the city for over a month, debating whether or not the project is complete according to the terms of a 2015 agreement.
