(WBAP/KLIF) – Senator John Cornyn is hoping at least portions of the additional FBI background check on Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh be made public.
The Republican from Texas said it is only fair to the nominee as he was publicly accused and shamed.
“I think it’s not fair to have all those allegations made in public and not have the results of the FBI investigation, in some form or fashion, made available to the public,” Cornyn said.
Cornyn says usually the FBI keeps such matters confidential so they can get more cooperation from potential witnesses.
