Plano (WBAP/KLIF) – The city of Plano says flooding Saturday caused two of its sanitary sewers to overflow into nearby waterways. The first occurred near the intersection of San Simeon Way and Independence Parkway. That forced an estimated 100,000 gallons of raw sewage into Spring Creek. The second overflow was reported where Plano Parkway crosses White Rock Creek. That overflow also sent 100,000 gallons of sewage into that creek. It’s unclear wether any environmental damage has been done.
