Wildfire Central Texas; Horseshoe Bay Airport – Buildings Threatened

HORSESHOE BAY – (WBAP/KLIF) –  UPDATE 7 PM; At least 150 homes near the Horseshoe Bay Airport now evacuated; voluntary evacuations are called for residents of the Highlands, Uplands and HorseShoe Bay South neighborhoods.  Fire still pegged at 400 acres and 10% contained.

Voluntary evacuations have been called for anyone in the path of a 400-acre wildfire being fought by several agencies in Central Texas.  The fire is now 10% contained, but 400 acres strong, and moving northwest, threatening structures.   Officials say the fire began at or near the Horseshoe Bay Airport.
