Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Hundreds of those yellow rental bikes seen scattered around town over the past six months, were spotted piled up at a Dallas recycling facility over the weekend.
A Facebook user posted a photo over the weekend, saying, Checkout the bike share program now. What a waste!”
The Chinese company, OFO, collected the bikes, telling WFAA that they’re winding down the program in select markets, but remain committed to environmental sustainability.
OFO also says it’s donating bikes in good condition to City Square in Dallas and Bikes for Tykes in Tarrant County.
