Denton County Sheriff Orlando Hinojosa confirms the smoke can be seen for miles. A brush fire believed to have begun near U S Highway 380 and Trinity Road in a recycling yard is now burning near University Drive and Trinity Road. As many as 60 firefighters are reported at the scene; they’re bringing in water by the truckload to help get this fire out. Denton County Fire is reported joined by as many as 11 or 12 other departments working to get this thing tapped.
