Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – Incumbent Texas Senator Ted Cruz says the report that challenger Beto O’Rourke has raised far more money than he has for this year’s election is very bad news. O’Rourke announced during the week that he has raised more than $10 million in the last three months. Cruz has raised $4.6 million. Cruz appealed to his supporters Friday afternoon, writing “we must close the gap. We’re being out raised by almost 3-to-1, and the polls are getting closer. We need to step up.”
Election day is 16 weeks away: November 6.
