A Preliminary Report on the Mckinney Stadium Cracks is Favorable

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Cracks in the nearly 70 million dollar Mckinney ISD football stadium may not be as dangerous as initially feared.

A preliminary report by Nelson Forensics found the cracks in the home side concourse foundation are excessive, however, they do presently compromise the structure.

It’s the first of three reports which also state that the cracks will widen as they take on water and traffic, creating tripping hazards and durability concerns.

Nelson Forensics also examined cracks at Allen’s controversial stadium a few years ago which were found to be a danger to the structure.
