
DFW (WBAP/KLIF) – A number of water related incidents kept authorities busy in Grapevine and Arlington over the weekend.
Search crews on Sunday afternoon recovered the body of a man who fell off a pontoon boat on Grapevine Lake the day before.
Authorities say the man, who was believed to be about 40-years old was not wearing a life jacket.
He has yet to be identified.
In a separate incident at Grapevine Lake Sunday, one person was hospitalized after firefighters responded to a report of a drowning at the lake in the Rockledge Park area. The vicitim was taken to Baylor in critical condition.
And, Arlington Police say a tragic accident killed a 4-year old boy Sunday.
Drowning (Arlington) Arlington Fire, EMS, & Police responded to a drowning incident this afternoon at a residence in the 7400 block of Lakes End Drive. Emergency responders were called to the scene for a drowning/cardiac arrest of a child. The pediatric patient died at hospital.

They were called out to a home on Lands End Drive around 4pm after the boy was found floating in the family pool.
Investigators say the boy’s father says he fell asleep downstairs, after the child took a nap in his upstairs bedroom.
The child was pronounced dead at Cook Children’s.
