Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A Texas judge has reversed an earlier court’s ruling, and denied bail to a 36 year old Dallas nightclub bouncer who allegedly beat up his girlfriend on a Deep Ellum street. Police say Jarod Broussard beat the woman early Thursday morning in full view of surveillance cameras at The Bomb Factory. Some of the video taken by those cameras is now circulating through social media. Bail for Broussard was originally set at $15,000, but the judge threw that out, noting that Broussard has been arrested at least twice before for family violence, and has ready access to guns. He remains behind bars.
